CAMEROON PREVIEW: THE INDOMITABLE LIONS

Cameroon endured a difficult CAF Africa Cup of Nations campaign in the Ivory Coast earlier this year as they squeezed through the group stages before then suffering a comfortable 2-0 defeat to Nigeria in the Round of 16.

Since then, the Cameroonians have appointed Marc Brys and he began his reign with a very impressive hammering of Cape Verde by four goals to one before then sharing a 1-1 draw with Pedro Goncalves’ Angola a few days later over the summer.

NAMIBIA PREVIEW: THE HISTORY MAKERS

At that aforementioned CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournament at the beginning of this year, Namibia, in their first ever major tournament, managed to squeeze themselves out of the group stages with a victory and a draw in their three games.

Since then, the Namibians have reached the final of the COSAFA Cup with a bit-part squad on the back of back-to-back FIFA World Cup qualifying draws against Tunisia and Liberia. They have now suffered just two defeats in their last ten matches.

CAMEROON VS NAMIBIA PREDICTION

Cameroon and Namibia experienced very different emotions despite both being knocked out of AFCON at the Round of 16 stage earlier this year but the Cameroonians appear to be much-improved this time around and with fully fit additions of Bryan Mbeumo and Carlos Baleba to their squad, will be confident of continuing their progression under Marc Brys with a fairly comfortable victory in this one.
