THE PREDICTION
Only two points currently separate third placed Goa with fifth placed Hyderabad heading into this Indian Super League showdown, which is effectively a quarter final in many ways. A win or draw for Goa would be enough for them to secure a semi-final spot, whilst victory for Hyderabad would see them leapfrog Goa and secure themselves a top four place instead. As such, a tense encounter may be on the cards with Goa set to take no unnecessary risks that could see them hit on the counter attack and the onus will be on Hyderabad to break them down. Manuel Marquez’s side have the offensive game to find the net vs their opponents, with Hyderabad having scored six goals in their last two league matches, however their need to force bodies forward is likely to leave space in behind for Goa to capitalise on. Therefore, both teams are expected to find the net as has been the case in Goa’s last eight Indian Super League fixtures.
