ODISHA

  • Odisha started the season with four consecutive away matches and they were supposed to be playing this home game at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar but it has now been switched to the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Pune instead.
  • They opened up the season with consecutive 2-1 defeats, but since then they have picked up four points from their last two matches with a win against Mumbai City followed by a 0-0 draw against Kerala Blasters.
  • Spanish striker Aridane Santana – who has scored three goals this season – was forced to leave the field with an injury in their draw against Kerala but having had a couple of weeks to recover he is thought to be fine to play.

ATK

  • ATK went into the international break as the league leaders with three consecutive wins since losing their opening game of the season against Kerala Blasters.
  • They have scored a total of nine goals in their last three games with the lethal partnership of Krishna and Williams responsible for scoring six of those goals.
  • ATK will be missing midfielder Pronay Halder who picked up an injury whilst on international duty and either Sehnaj Singh or Jayesh Rane are thought to be contenders to take his place.

THE PREDICTION

ATK will be full of belief after winning three matches in a row whilst scoring nine goals in the process. They are flourishing as an attacking force with Krishna and Williams really making an impact. Odisha have picked up a couple of decent results in their last couple of games but they will struggle to outscore a buoyant ATK team who are tipped to take the three points from this encounter.
