THE PREDICTION

After exiting the Champions League in midweek following a 1-3 loss against French champions Lille, Wolfsburg must now refocus on domestic matters. Having lost their last four matches in all competitions, being able to focus entirely on the Bundesliga may not be a bad thing for the hosts, who welcome Stuttgart to VOLKSWAGEN ARENA. Having gone through a poor run of form themselves, the visitors have since turn things round, picking up four points from the last six available to them. Whilst Wolfsburg are likely to have the majority of possession here and will look to push bodies forward whenever possible with the home crowd demanding an attacking display, Stuttgart come into this one with confidence and could well take advantage of any extra space afforded to them inside the opposition half, particularly on the counter attack. The last three league games involving the visitors have seen both teams score and it would be no surprise if the same outcome was to occur in this one, regardless of who emerges triumphant after 90 minutes.
