Union Berlin clearly used the extended winter break to good effect, kicking off their restarted Bundesliga campaign with an impressive victory against Hoffenheim and they’ll be looking to back this up against a shell-shocked Werder Bremen. The hosts were thrashed 7-1 at Koln and when you take into account just how poor they were, particularly at the back then it bodes well for Union.
