WERDER BREMEN PREVIEW: THRILLING TRIUMPH OVER HOFFENHEIM A MOMENTUM BUILDER
Werder Bremen may still be riding the crest of a wave after overcoming Hoffenheim in a memorable 3-4 barnstormer in Sinsheim that saw them come back from three goals down. Trailing 3-0 at the 20-minute-mark, Werder had drawn level before half-time in a remarkable turn of events, Jens Stage bagging a brace.
Stage completed his hat-trick and Werder’s comeback early in the second half and the visitors hung on against a wave of Hoffenheim pressure to record only their second Bundesliga victory of the season.
FREIBURG PREVIEW: EUROPEAN PUSH SUFFERS BUMP IN THE ROAD
Following consecutive league victories, Freiburg missed an opportunity to break into the top six after losing 0-3 at home to St. Pauli, a really poor result against the newly promoted side, who picked up their first win of the season. Nothing went right for Freiburg, who were toothless in front of goal and punished at the back.
The inconsistency of Freiburg is likely to be what frustrates supporters presently. At times they can look like one of the best teams in the German top flight and other times they can look like relegation fodder.
WERDER BREMEN TEAM NEWS: NJINMAH STILL OUT AND LYNEN UNDER CONCUSSION PROTOCOL

FREIBURG TEAM NEWS: FOUR OUT AND PHILIPP DOUBTFUL
Kyereh, Rohl, Gulde and Schmidt are all absent for the away side, the latter with an abdominal muscle problem. However, Philipp could be available depending on the outcome of a late fitness test.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Atubolu; Kubler, Ginter, Lienhart, Gunter; Eggestein, Osterhage; Doan, Dinkci, Grifo; Adamu
UNAVAILABLE: Kyereh (Injured), Rohl (Injured), Gulde (Injured), Schmidt (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE: Philipp (Injured)
WERDER BREMEN VS FREIBURG PREDICTION
Werder Bremen won’t be afraid of the attacking threat posed by Freiburg and will surely deploy an ultra-offensive gameplan on their own ground. Goals haven’t been easy to come by for the visitors this campaign, but they could be afforded opportunities here on the counter-attack, assuming that Werder push extra bodies forward at every chance. Therefore, a shrewd move may be to back both teams to score.
