THE PREDICTION
Union Berlin come into this on the back of a disappointing 2-0 defeat away to Augsburg last weekend. They have enjoyed a very impressive rise and that shows no signs of stopping, though. Union have balanced European and domestic commitments so well with a small squad that they, amazingly, sit in the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots as well as the quarter-finals of the DFB-Pokal and UEFA Europa Conference League knockout stages. They now come up against another member of the top four in Borussia Dortmund. Marco Rose’s side have let their chance of a title race fade away and Bayern Munich have now opened up a gap after their shocking 5-2 defeat at home to Bayer Leverkusen last weekend. Dortmund might well be without Erling Braut Haaland for this one, as well. Union, with home advantage, will be confident of causing Dortmund issues and both teams scoring does look a good bet for this one.
