RB LEIPZIG PREVIEW: ROSE’S MEN STUN CHAMPIONS TO MAINTAIN 100% START

RB Leipzig were expected to crumble to a comprehensive defeat after Bayer Leverkusen took a two-goal lead against them at the BayArena last time out. But Marco Rose’s side are made of strong stuff and answered back in style. A Kevin Kampl goal followed by Lois Openda’s brace stunned the hosts and sealed a memorable triumph for Leipzig.

Before Rose’s men turn their attentions to the Champions League, they have important business to attend to here. They need to keep their perfect start to the season going with competition for the Bundesliga stronger than ever this season.

UNION BERLIN PREVIEW: HARD-FOUHT ST. PAULI WIN A BIG FILLET FOR UNION

Union Berlin recorded a point of their opening Bundesliga game of the new campaign, but more expectation was one them at home prior to the international break as they welcome newly promoted St. Pauli to the capital. In what was a close game, Benedick Hollerbach’s first-half goal proved enough to edge Union past their opponents.

That result leaves Union fifth-place in the table, which underlines how precious even a point would be for them here. However, they face a tall order to try and gain that point when taking into account the quality of opposition.

RB LEIPZIG VS UNION BERLIN PREDICTION

RB Leipzig are expected to dominate most of this game and confidence must be high among their squad following that memorable comeback in Leverkusen. As solid as Union Berlin are defensively, it’s difficult to see them holding out for 90 minutes and eventually the attacking firepower of the hosts should overwhelm their opponents. Back RB Leipzig to triumph and by two clear goals at that.
