HOFFENHEIM PREVIEW: UNEXPECTED POINT STOPS THE ROT

On the back of a four-match losing streak in the Bundesliga, not many expected Hoffenheim to get anything out of a tough away clash vs Stuttgart. However, a brilliant defensive performance saw Hoffenheim almost pull off an unbelievable smash and grab.

Unfortunately for them, Stuttgart broke their hearts in the ninth minute of second half stoppage time. But that shouldn’t take away what a good point it was for Hoffenheim who need to kick from that following the international break.

BOCHUM PREVIEW: CAN MOVE LEVEL WITH HOFFENHEIM WITH VICTORY

Although Bochum are one of just two clubs yet to pick up a win in the Bundesliga this season, they can move up to four points by beating Hoffenheim, going level on points with their opponents in the process and potentially off the foot of the table.

Since gaining their only point of the campaign so far, Bochum have lost two in a row, beaten by both Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg respectively to leave them bottom of the pile after six round of fixtures.

HOFFENHEIM VS BOCHUM PREDICTION

The stakes feel extremely high in this encounter when considering the difficulties both teams have faced across the campaign. When taking into account their respective winless runs, confidence must be low among the two squads and we could be in for a tense contest. Neither are likely to take any huge risks knowing the ramifications of defeat and that may be reflected in the score, so back under 2.5 goals scored.

HOFFENHEIM VS BOCHUM TIP: UNDER 2.5 GOALS
