THE PREDICTION

Although they were beaten 4-1, Greuther Furth’s performance away at Bayern Munich last Sunday which saw them take the lead showed how far they have come since their nightmare first half of the season, that all but eliminated their hopes of staying up. With home advantage back in their favour here, Greuther are expected to deploy an ultra-attacking style of play against Koln, knowing that anything less than three points does very little to help their slim survival hopes. Whilst this may see them afforded the hosts success in front of goal, Koln contain the quality going forward to capitalise on any extra space inside the opposition half having netted at least once in each of their last four league games. Therefore, backing both teams to score looks to be a shrewd move.
