THE PREDICTION

Union Berlin travel to Eintracht Frankfurt riding the crest of a wave following their derby victory over Hertha and backing that up with an away win in the Europa Conference League against Maccabi Haifa. However, the Union players have covered a lot of ground over the past week and it would be no surprise if they are not at their best from a physical perspective in this one, presenting an opportunity for the hosts to take advantage. Matches involving either of these two sides normally see goals at either end of the pitch. Four of Eintracht Frankfurt’s last five fixtures in all competitions have seen both teams score, whilst the same outcome has occurred in six of Union Berlin’s last eight. When taking this into account, regardless of who comes out on top between the two sides, backing both teams to score must be seriously considered.
