THE PREDICTION

It has been arguably the toughest week of Bayern Munich’s entire season and the pressure has been ramped up on them alongside boss Julian Nagelsmann ahead of Greuther Furth’s visit to the Allianz Arena. The reigning Bundesliga champions are not only on the back of a shock 4-2 defeat away at Bochum, arguably a bigger surprise came later in the week as Nagelsmann’s side were on the brink of being beaten by RB Salzburg in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash, before a 90th minute Kingsley Coman equaliser spared Bayern’s blushes in Austria. The league leaders will be happy to be back on home ground here and outcome other than a commanding victory against the Bundesliga’s bottom-placed club by at least two clear goals would see serious questions asked of Nagelsmann and his team by the Bayern hierarchy.
