THE PREDICTION

Augsburg currently remain inside the bottom three of the Bundesliga with just a point from their last four league matches. In contrast, Stuttgart have not been beaten in any of their most recent four games in the Bundesliga, although they did taste defeat in the DFB Pokal last time out. With home advantage in their favour, Augsburg know they need to take some risks offensively in this one and push bodies forward whenever possible, even if it leaves them potentially exposed on the counter attack. Stuttgart will be hoping to take advantage of this, but with no clean sheets to their name across their most recent four fixtures in all competitions, an ultra-attacking style of play from the hosts is likely to prove profitable in front of goal. Therefore, both teams to score looks very much on the cards and is to be favoured in this one, with the outcome of the contest itself having the potential to go either way.
