Playing on their own turf, Augsburg need to rally against St. Pauli and with the home crowd behind them, they’ll hope to mark the Heidenheim defeat as a watershed moment. It’s fair to say that everyone will forget that result very quickly with three points here.

St. Pauli were expected to find the transition to the top flight difficult after such a long period away and losing their head coach prior to the start of the season.
