THE PREDICTION
Having gone the first 12 games of the Bundesliga season without defeat, Bayer Leverkusen have now suffered back-to-back losses for the first time in over a year. A late defeat against Bayern Munich is understandable, but last Saturday’s 2-1 reverse at Eintracht Frankfurt is a slight cause for concern. In any case, Peter Bosz’s men will be expected to return to winning ways at home to Werder Bremen, who have lost five of their last six. Bremen have picked up the majority of their points away from home this season, but their only two wins came against the current bottom two, so Leverkusen should prove too strong and claim the three points.
