THE PREDICTION

Despite several players being unavailable for Ingolstadt due to having tested positive for Covid-19, the bottom-placed side in the 2. Bundesliga showed admirable fight to hold Hansa Rostock to a 1-1 draw away from home. However, with no win in their last seven league matches, the fact remains that they are in serious relegation trouble and must someone find a way to gain three points here at home to Hannover 96. The visitors have lost just one of their last six in all competitions, but that defeat was their most recent away game, a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Karlsruhe. Ingolstadt however, represent a far easier opponents and whilst Hannover cannot afford to show any complacency, otherwise they will be punished as Hansa Rostock were last weekend, an away win has to be favoured in this one.
