THE PREDICTION

It has been an inconsistent season so far for both of these sides, who are level on 16 points going into Friday’s clash. Hannover 96 have been unable to replicate their home form on the road, winning one and losing five of their six away games. They are also missing a couple of key players and have major doubts over first-choice goalkeeper Michael Esser and left-back Niklas Hult, which would leave them weakened. With that in mind, Jahn Regensburg - who have won three of their last five at home - do look slightly more appealing, although the Draw No Bet option is certainly worth considering too.
