THE PREDICTION

Erzgebirge Aue registered back-to-back defeats for the fourth time this season last weekend, losing 3-0 at Fortuna Dusseldorf, but they have yet to lose three in a row. Third-from-bottom Osnabruck, in contrast, make the long trip to Saxony on the back of only their second back-to-back wins of the campaign, which has given them a good chance of at least avoiding automatic relegation. Recent meetings between the two sides have been low on goals but both teams have scored in each of Osnabruck’s last four matches, while Aue have failed to find the net in just one of their previous eight at home, so it would be a surprise if there were not goals in this contest.
