THE PREDICTION

Leaders Bochum missed the chance to clinch promotion last Sunday, drawing 1-1 at Nurnberg, but with a three-point lead over third-placed Greuther Furth, the champagne is very much on ice. Thomas Reis’ men will be confident of getting over the line this time, particularly as they are at home where they have won 10 of their last 12 Bundesliga 2 games. It is also a decisive match for their opponents, who are just one place and one point above the relegation play-off spot. Sandhausen have had a terrible time on their travels this season, losing all but one of their away league matches and conceding at least two goals in all but three of them. Bochum have been heavy scorers at the Ruhrstadion so a home win with over 2.5 goals is the way to go here.
