THE LOWDOWN
TOULOUSE
Balancing UEFA Europa League football against Ligue 1 has been difficult for Toulouse but they have finally steadied themselves with a squad that was ahead of schedule finally getting room to breathe. They have moved themselves firmly into the middle-of-the-table with a much-improved last couple of months.
The home team come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat of Lorient in their most recent outing at Stade du Moustoir – Yves Allainmat last weekend. Thijs Dallinga and Ibrahim Cissoko scored the goals in the second-half to turn that game around and that means they are now unbeaten in their last five matches.
MONTPELLIER
Under the management of Armenian coach Michel Der Zakarian, Montpellier Herault have managed to steer themselves away from the bottom three and the danger zone with some much-improved form in the last month or so. They now begin the weekend sitting eight points clear of the bottom three and the relegation playoff place.
The visitors come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with Nantes in their most recent outing, last weekend, extending their own unbeaten run of form. Akor Adams gave Montpellier a second minute lead before Matthias Abline equalised for Nantes five minutes later. Montpellier are now unbeaten in their last five games, too.
THE TEAM NEWS
TOULOUSE
Toulouse have a fully fit and available squad for this weekend so will be able to name an unchanged eleven as they welcome Montpellier to the city.

MONTPELLIER
Theo Sainte-Luce remains unavailable through injury for this week, whilst both Lucas Mincarelli and attacker Arnaud Nordin are missing through suspension.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Lecomte; Tchato, Jullien, Sagnan, Sylla; Omeragic, Chotard; Karamoh, Savanier, Al Taamari; Adams
UNAVAILABLE: Mincarelli (Suspended), Nordin (Suspended), Sainte-Luce (Injured)

THE PREDICTION
Both of these sides have majorly improved in the last couple of months and they have done so by being a lot more effective in the attacking third. Six of Toulouse’s last nine matches have featured both teams scoring. They now face a Montpellier side that have been experiencing a similar run of form. Their 1-1 draw against Nantes means that ten of their last 13 games have all been both teams scoring, too. So, both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one this weekend.
