Marseille’s 1-0 win at home to Lokomotiv Moscow was not enough to see them through to the latter stages of the Europa League and they face an unwelcome drop down to the Conference League. In Ligue 1, a 1-2 loss at home to Brest last Saturday snapped a seven-match unbeaten run that included a hard-fought draw with PSG, who they may well be behind in second place if they did not have a game in-hand. Strasbourg have been exceptional in recent weeks, with a 0-3 victory at Nice their sixth match unbeaten. They have scored eight goals in their last two games and they could, fantastically, leapfrog their visitors with a win here. Marseille’s away record holds up to scrutiny but taking the hosts at draw no bet for a one-off could be valuable here. Otherwise, over 2.5 goals could be a decent alternative.
