Rennes already topped their group in the Europa Conference League before Thursday night’s postponement of their final group stage match with Tottenham Hotspur, in which they would have likely rested players. Their chase of PSG at the top of the table already looks in vein but after losing their last home match here to Lille at the start of the month they will be desperate to start up another long winning streak. Travelling Nice look in no great shape to beat them here but they have proven tricky to beat themselves on the road, with seven points from their last three away games in Ligue 1 including a 0-0 at PSG. Taking the hosts to avoid defeat with double chance seems a suitably cautious move here.
