THE LOWDOWN
NICE
The INEOS decision to give the Nice job to a relative unknown in Francesco Farioli has very much paid off so far this season. The Italian has the Riviera club sitting tucked inside the top three as we return from the November international break, having gone unbeaten in their opening 12 matches so far this season.
They come into this one on the back of a goalless draw away to Montpellier Herault a couple of weeks ago. They have managed seven victories with five draws and sit below defending champions PSG at the top-of-the-table ahead of the match day. A frustration will be a lack of goals with, remarkably, just 13 scored and four conceded so far.
TOULOUSE
Balancing UEFA Europa League football and Ligue 1 action has been a tough ask for a thin Toulouse squad and they are set to spend the entire season struggling against finishing in the bottom three. They begin the weekend sitting a point above third-from-bottom Lorient but are on a long winless run domestically.
The visitors shared a respectable 1-1 draw with Lille a couple of weeks ago but that failure to win means they have now failed to win any of their last six matches in Ligue 1. Toulouse, under the management of Carlos Martinez Novell, will be hoping to rekindle some form that has seen them perform so well in the last couple of seasons.

TOULOUSE
Toulouse have several unavailable players for this one with key suspensions, such as Niklas Schmidt and Thijs Dallinga, whilst Denis Genreau and Zakaria Aboukhlal are injured.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Restes; Desler, Costa, Nicolaisen, Diarra; Spierings, Casseres Jr; Donnum, Sierro, Gelabert; Kamanzi

THE PREDICTION
They have struggled for goals throughout the season but done enough to consistently grind out victories against struggling sides. Francesco Farioli’s style is a bit more proactive than Nice’s low-scoring results would suggest and there is expected to come a point where they begin to let loose going forward. Toulouse have more UEFA Europa League action in midweek and without Thijs Dallinga for this trip down south, a fairly comfortable Nice victory is to be expected.
BETTING TIP: NICE TO WIN
