MONACO PREVIEW: MERRY MONACO

Under the management of former Borussia Monchengladbach boss Adi Hutter, Monaco play some of the most entertaining football in the whole of Europe and especially in France’s top-flight. The Monagasque play a front foot style and that got them to finish as runners’ up last season before a strong start to this.

After hammering Barcelona by three goals to nil in the Joan Gamper Trophy before the season started, Monaco have now enjoyed three victories and a draw in their opening four Ligue 1 matches before they then defeated Barcelona again in the opening match of their 2024/25 UEFA Champions League campaign.

LE HAVRE PREVIEW: NEW LOOK LE HAVRE

Former Middlesbrough midfielder and Nice manager Didier Digard was appointed as Le Havre boss this summer following the departure of Slovenian coach Luka Elsner to Stade de Reims. Digard has done a good job at the start of this season, though.

Le Havre began their season with a 4-1 defeat at home to Paris Saint-Germain at Stade Oceane but the scores were level with around five of the 90 minutes to go. Since the opening weekend of the season, the visitors have managed two victories with one defeat and come into this one on the back of a 2-0 loss at Toulouse.

LE HAVRE TEAM NEWS: ATTACKING LE HAVRE

MONACO VS LE HAVRE PREDICTION

This should be a foregone conclusion really. Monaco have been really strong this season but they have just had the distraction of playing UEFA Champions League football so it could well mean they are fatigued for this weekend. Le Havre have been good to watch this season and have shown they can pose a threat to anyone so this could be quite a fun game but Monaco would remain favourites.

MONACO VS LE HAVRE TIP: MONACO TO WIN & OVER 2.5 GOALS
