LYON PREVIEW: LYON LOOKING TO LEAP
Last season, Olympique Lyonnais spent a lot of the campaign sitting towards the bottom three and the danger zone with both Laurent Blanc and Fabio Grosso being sacked by the hosts before the early December appointment of Pierre Sage, which eventually saw them propel themselves up the table.
In fact, no team collected more points than them after Sage’s arrival. They have endured a difficult start to this season, though, with just one win in their opening four matches as they come into this one on the back of a goalless draw against Lens in their most recent outing, last weekend, at Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
MARSEILLE PREVIEW: MARVELLOUS MARSEILLE SO FAR
Over the summer, Olympique de Marseille once again experienced something of a major turnover in terms of both the backroom and the playing staff as they attempted another revolution with the spending of over £70 million on new talent, especially in attack, with the arrivals of Mason Greenwood, Elye Wahi and Neal Maupay.
Under the management of former Sassuolo, Shakhtar Donetsk and Brighton and Hove Albion boss Roberto De Zerbi, Marseille come into this one on the back of a 2-0 defeat of Nice in the Mediterranean Derby in their most recent outing last weekend to mean they have collected ten points from their opening four matches of the season.
LYON TEAM NEWS: NO ZAHA

LYON VS MARSEILLE PREDICTION
Olympique Lyonnais have started the season really poorly, especially in comparison to how they performed in the second-half of last season. They have remained entertaining to watch, despite last week’s draw against Lens. On the other hand, Olympique de Marseille have been thrilling to watch throughout at both ends, although most prominently in attack. This should be quite a fun match to watch for the neutral in which both teams scoring seems a good bet.
