ANGERS PREVIEW: ANGRY ANGERS
Following their promotion to the top-flight last season, Angers have endured a really difficult start to life back in Ligue 1 with three successive defeats before the September international break. However, they have returned from the break with an impressive point in the Alsace region.
Up against Liam Rosenior’s Strasbourg, Angers fell behind after 31 minutes due to a goal from Strasbourg’s big money summer signing, Sebastian Nanasi. After that, though, it was a 62nd minute equaliser from former Marseille forward Bamba Dieng that halted the losing streak and gave Angers hope of being competitive.
NANTES PREVIEW: IMPROVED NANTES
Last season, Nantes had to sack both Pierre Aristouy and Jocelyn Gourvennac before they eventually propelled themselves away from the bottom three and the danger zone under the management of the returning Antoine Kombouare. Kombouare finished the season extremely well and that has continued into this season.
The visitors come into this one on the back of a brilliant start to the campaign before the international break when they collected seven points and conceded just one goal in their opening three matches but they did suffer a 2-1 defeat at home to Stade de Reims at Stade de la Beaujoire last weekend.

ANGERS VS NANTES PREDICTION
Angers are a poor side. Despite their respectable draw against a team that over plays for the sake of over playing last week, they remain one of, if not the weakest side in the division. Nantes will want to believe that the Reims side that they lost to last season are actually a side expecting to challenge for the top six. In actual fact, it would seem as though a bet in favour of Nantes looks a good one for this one.
