THE PREDICTION
Greece’s 1-1 draw with Spain thanks to a Tasos Bakasetas penalty mid-way through the second-half is arguably the most positive Greek result in seven years. They haven’t reached a major tournament since the 2014 World Cup. It follows on from an improved bit of form where they picked up 12 points in their Nations League group as they went unbeaten. Georgia’s slender defeat to Sweden came on the back of a fairly even game before a 2-1 defeat at home to Spain in which they had a first-half lead but conceded to long-range Dani Olmo strike in second-half stoppage time. Both sides have started relatively well and, given that, both teams to score could be a reasonable bet.
