Back-to-back victories against Afghanistan and Bangladesh ended Oman’s AFC World Cup qualification well as they progressed through as one of the best second-placed sides. They come up against a Somalia side that haven’t played any football since 2019 but did play a friendly against Djibouti last week. Oman are far the better side and given that they have lost just one of their last seven matches since late-2019, they will come into this as the comfortable favourites.
