Peterborough are currently in the midst of a Championship relegation fight, but the FA Cup third round will provide somewhat of a welcome distraction it is expected, as League Two side Bristol Rovers travel to the Weston Homes Stadium. Most importantly for Darren Ferguson’s men, this tie is at home, where they have proved competitive over the course of the season so far in a direct contrast to their away form. Provided that Ferguson plays his best available team in this one rather than give any of his key players a rest, then Peterborough should make it through to the fourth round against their lower league opponents.
