THE PREDICTION
An all-Championship affair sees Coventry host Derby, who find themselves in the midst of a battle to stay in the second tier following a 21-point deduction for financial reasons off the field. However, Wayne Rooney’s side are clearly far better than their position in the table suggests and would be just two points behind the Sky Blues without the points deduction. However, when taking into account Derby’s skeletal squad combined with the heavy Christmas schedule that saw them play three times in eight days, the likelihood is that the Rams won’t be able to sustain an FA Cup run this season and Coventry, who have had a week and a half preparation time for this one should be able to capitalise and advance to the next round in front of their own fans.
