Patrick Viera boasts a squad of significant strength-in-depth and the direct running of Palace’s attacking players in particular, including the trickery provided by the likes of Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze, make them a difficult outfit to play against. Although 4,700 travelling Hartlepool fans will dream of an upset, the offensive quality of the Eagles should see the hosts through.
