THE PREDICTION
Chelsea will once again be glad of a break from Premier League action to compete in the FA Cup. Their third-round win over Morecambe was used by Blues boss Frank Lampard to try and boast confidence within his squad, with a number of big-name players underperforming and the same is expected here against Luton of the Championship. The likes of forward Timo Werner and midfield Kai Havertz are expected to feature again in cup competition as the two new big money signings look to register some much-needed attacking returns. Luton aren’t to be written off here and may make life difficult for the Blues, but Chelsea with home advantage have put lower league sides to the sword in both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup this season and the same is expected here.
