THE PREDICTION
High flying Leicester may still be in Europe and battling for the Premier League title, but the Foxes still see the FA Cup as a very important part of their season as they look to win the one domestic trophy that has evaded them in their history. They won’t have it easy here though against Championship side Brentford, who are coming off the back of a Carabao Cup semi-final appearance. These two teams collided at Griffin Park in last season’s competition with Leicester narrowly coming out on top with a 0-1 win. This time they face off in Brentford’s new stadium and despite their fixture backlog, Brendan Rodgers is expected to field a strong Leicester side. The Premier League outfit’s strength in depth is expected to prove the difference here and like last season, the Foxes should come out on top, but only by one clear goal in what will be another tight encounter.
