THE PREDICTION
Liverpool travel to Villa Park for the first time since their infamous 7-2 defeat at the hands of Dean Smith’s side in the Premier League earlier on in the season. The Reds under Jurgen Klopp traditionally use the FA Cup as an opportunity to field their younger players and the same is expected here. Aston Villa however, were expected to play a strong side considering they aren’t in any real danger of Premier League relegation, until an outbreak of Covid-19 within their first team playing and coaching staff. The match will still go ahead with the hosts now forced to field a side consisting of under-23 and under-18 players, with under-23 coach Mark Delaney to take charge of the team. As a result of this, Liverpool even if they rest a number of key players will still be expected to come through and win this one fairly comfortably.
