THE LOWDOWN
WOLVES
Wolves are grinding out results at the moment and last weekend's come-from-behind victory over Bournemouth will have been particularly sweet for Gary O'Neil given that it came against the club that sacked him over the summer.
The midlands side were a goal behind at the break after Dominic Solanke had given Bournemouth the lead, but Matheus Cunha levelled matters early in the second half, and after Lewis Cook saw red for the Cherries, Sasa Kalajdzic scored a late winner for the second time this season to send the travelling Wolves fans into raptures.
NEWCASTLE
Newcastle's mini wobble near the beginning of the season is but a distant memory now as Eddie Howe's side have picked up 13 points from the last 15 available in the Premier League, their latest victory coming over Crystal Palace in rather comfortable fashion.
The Magpies suffered their first Champions League defeat of the season on Wednesday when they lost to Borussia Dortmund, but confidence remains high in the group.
THE TEAM NEWS
WOLVES
Having both completed their respective suspensions, Nelson Semedo and Mario Lemina could both return to the starting XI, but Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is 50/50 to make the squad with a muscle problem.
Shoulder surgery will keep Joe Hodge out for a couple of months, while Hugo Bueno remains doubtful.
PREDICTED XI (3-4-2-1): Sa; Kilman, Dawson, T. Gomes; Semedo, J. Gomes. Lemina, Ait-Nouri; Neto, Hwang; Cunha
UNAVAILABLE: Hodge (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE: H. Bueno (Injured), Bellegarde (Injured)
NEWCASTLE
Alexander Isak is definitely out after suffering a reoccurrence of a groin injury, and he is highly likely to be joined on the sidelines by Jacob Murphy, who is set to see a specialist about a shoulder issue.
Sandro Tonali could be available despite an impending ban, and Howe could give him a final runout for what could be quite some time.
PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Pope, Trippier, Lascelles, Schar, Burn; Tonali, Guimaraes, Joelinton; Almiron, Wilson, Gordon
UNAVAILABLE: Botman (Injured), Miley (Illness), Anderson (Injured), Barnes (Injured), Isak (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE: Tonali (Personal reasons), Murphy (Injured)
THE PREDICTION
After a troubling start, Wolves have edged up the table thanks to a four-game unbeaten run in the Premier League, but that streak will be put to the test here against a Newcastle side who are undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with once again this season. The Magpies are on an excellent run in the league themselves, and they have to be favoured given the superior quality they possess. Given Wolves' form though, draw no bet on the visitors represents the safe bet.
BETTING TIP: NEWCASTLE DRAW NO BET
