THE LOWDOWN
WOLVES
- Wolves turn their attention back to the Premier League after being knocked out of the FA Cup by Norwich last time out in hugely disappointing fashion, although that doesn’t take anything away from their recent excellent league form.
- Romain Saiss is available following international duty for Morocco and should slot back into the centre of defence, however the likes of Willy Boly and Hwang Hee-chan remain unavailable through injury.
ARSENAL
- Arsenal will have been extremely frustrated following their most recent Premier League fixture having failed to break down a resolute Burnley, ultimately drawing 0-0 at the Emirates Stadium, making this an important match in their battle to break into the top four.
- Both Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey return from their respective suspensions and the two central midfielders and expected to come straight into Mikel Arteta’s starting line-up as he looks to rediscover the formula that saw his side go on a four-match winning streak in the league last December.

THE PREDICTION
Wolves can leapfrog the Gunners with victory in this one and they have every right to be confident when taking into account their recent form. Bruno Lage’s men have won their last three league games and accumulated 13 points from the last 15 available to them, conceding just two goals in the process. However, with Arsenal able to call upon the likes of Partey and Xhaka again, this should add some much-needed steel into their midfield and give them more of a chance to control this game. A tight affair looks to be on the cards with both teams strong defensively, particularly the hosts who boast the second-least number of goals conceded in the Premier League so far this season. With that in mind, consider backing 2.5 goals scored between these two sides as has been the case in nine of Wolves’ last 11 league fixtures.
Tip: UNDER 2.5 GOALS
