THE LOWDOWN
WEST HAM
- West Ham have been beaten at home in both of the two Premier League games that they have played immediately following Europa League action three days previous to that.
- The Hammers will be sweating on the fitness of Czech duo Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal with both injury doubts, whilst Mark Noble and Ryan Fredericks both face late fitness tests.
TOTTENHAM
- Tottenham recorded their second successive Premier League victory last weekend, beating Newcastle 2-3, which sees them lie outside the top four on goal difference only heading into this latest round of English top flight fixtures.
- Only Ryan Sessegnon is confirmed to be out for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, although Matt Doherty is a doubt after being injury on international duty which kept him out of the Newcastle game.

THE PREDICTION
Tottenham will have been very happy with their attacking potency away at Newcastle and with star striker Harry Kane now off the mark in this season’s Premier League, they’ll be looking to back it up with another strong performance from an offensive perspective at the London Stadium. However, boast a quality forward player themselves in Michail Antonio who could bully a Spurs defence that isn’t known for its solidarity. With that in mind, an exciting encounter could be on the cards between these two sides and both teams to score has to be favoured.
Tip: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
