THE TEAM NEWS

WEST HAM

After Ghana’s group stage exit from the Africa Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast, attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus has returned to the West Ham squad. David Moyes is expected to still be without the likes of Lucas Paqueta and Michail Antonio due to injuries, though.

Said Benrahma and Vladimir Coufal are both suspended for this one, whilst Nayef Ageurd is still with Morocco at AFCON. Both Edson Alvarez and Alphonse Areola are believed to be back and available as they welcome Bournemouth to the capital city.

PREDICTED XI (4-4-1-1): Areola; Johnson, Mavropanos, Zouma, Emerson; Cornet, Soucek, Ward-Prowse, Fornals; Kudus; Bowen

UNAVAILABLE: Paqueta (Injured), Benrahma (Suspended), Coufal (Suspended), Antonio (Injured), Ageurd (International duty)

QUESTIONABLE: Alvarez (Injured), Areola (Injured)

BOURNEMOUTH

AFC Bournemouth have struggled with a few long-term injuries throughout the campaign but The Cherries could welcome back right-back Adam Smith for their trip to the London Stadium after a recent injury issue.

Darren Randolph has still not returned from illness, whilst Dango Ouattara is away at AFCON with Burkina Faso. James Hill was forced off with injury against Swansea and Max Aarons, Tyler Adams and Ryan Fredericks are all out injured.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Neto; Tavernier, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kelly; Cook, Christie; Kluivert, Scott, Sinisterra; Solanke

UNAVAILABLE: Adams (Injured), Fredericks (Injured), Ouattara (International duty), Aarons (Injured), Hill (Injured), Randolph (Illness)

QUESTIONABLE: Smith (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

This one has the potential to be a really entertaining clash at the London Stadium with West Ham able to welcome back some key players into their squad and Bournemouth playing a front foot and aggressive style of football under the management of Andoni Iraola. The Hammers have been strong this season as they challenge for a top six finish but The Cherries have been simply excellent since the early winter months so both teams scoring on Thursday evening would appear a good bet.

TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
