THE LOWDOWN
WEST HAM
- After the draw with Southampton and midweek defeat to Liverpool, David Moyes will not want to go three Premier League games without a victory and he will look at this fixture against promoted side Bournemouth as an opportunity to get back to winning ways.
- Lucas Paqueta’s injury is likely to keep him out of this contest while Moyes will consider returning to this preferred 4-2-3-1 formation after opting for a traditional 4-4-2 against Liverpool.
BOURNEMOUTH
- Gary O’Neil suffered his first defeat as caretaker manager of Bournemouth with his side losing at home to Southampton midweek but they still remain in a relatively comfortable position in the table.
- There are no fresh concerns on the injury front with Lloyd Kelly and David Brooks the only absentees so O’Neil’s main decision to make is regarding whether he makes any changes to his starting line-up.

THE PREDICTION
Bournemouth have contested five competitive away games this season and have conceded in all of them, while West Ham have found the net in 23 of their last 25 Premier League games on home turf, so it would certainly be a surprise if the Hammers weren’t the breach the Cherries defence at some point in this Monday evening fixture. Bournemouth have been much-improved under Gary O’Neil but they were not at the races against Southampton midweek and that could be indicative of a dip in form. With that in mind, a home victory is expected here.
TIP: WEST HAM TO WIN
