THE LOWDOWN
TOTTENHAM
To be frank, Tottenham Hotspur will want their side to lose this week. If they are the team responsible for ending Manchester City’s winning streak, especially given their own fairly pathetic performances against Chelsea and Liverpool recently, and therefore gift the title to rivals Arsenal then supporters will rightly be extremely angry with their players.
Spurs have blown their top four chances. At the time of writing, they could still make it if Aston Villa lose to Liverpool the day before City arrive in north London but many supporters would sacrifice UEFA Champions League qualification to ensure Arsenal do not win the title. It would, however, be an extremely Tottenham thing to do.
MAN CITY
There are no nerves and there is no anxiety within this Manchester City squad. They are cruising through the latter stages of this title race once again with Pep Guardiola’s winning machine in an excellent groove. The Cityzens eased to victory in the capital on Saturday with a 4-0 hammering of mid-table Fulham.
Croatia international defender Josko Gvardiol notched a brace before goals from Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez completed the rout. City have now enjoyed seven victories in a row in the Premier League since being held to a goalless draw by Arsenal on Easter Sunday and they have scored 28 goals in the process.
THE TEAM NEWS

Long-term absentees such as Fraser Forster, Ben Davies, Destiny Udogie, Ryan Sessegnon, Manor Solomon and Timo Werner all remain unavailable for the hosts, too.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Pedro Porro, Romero, Dragusin, Van de Ven; Rodrigo Bentancur, Sarr; Kulusevski, Maddison, Johnson; Son
UNAVAILABLE: Forster (Injured), Davies (Injured), Udogie (Injured), Sessegnon (Injured), Bissouma (Injured), Solomon (Injured0, Werner (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE:
MAN CITY
Pep Guardiola has confirmed that England international attacker Jack Grealish has recovered from a recent bout of illness so will be available for the crucial trip down to north London this week.
The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona boss has also said that Dutch defender Nathan Ake was ‘much better yesterday’ after picking up an injury against Fulham but they will still have to see if he will be available for this one.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Ederson; Walker, Stones, Dias, Gvardiol; Rodri, Kovacic; Bernardo Silva, De Bruyne, Foden; Haaland
UNAVAILABLE:
QUESTIONABLE: Ake (Injured)
THE PREDICTION
The thing is with this one, Tottenham have an excellent record against Manchester City at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. In fact, City’s only win at the stadium came in January with a 1-0 victory in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Spurs’ supporters won’t want to win but the players could be sensing UEFA Champions League football and Postecoglou has said they will have a ‘crack’. However, even with that and the fairly comical scenario of Spurs winning Arsenal the title, this is a simply supreme Manchester City side that will be expected to eventually ease to victory and then the title on Sunday.
TIP: MAN CITY TO WIN
