TOTTENHAM PREVIEW: BACK-TO-BACK LEAGUE DEFEATS
Tottenham have lost two on the bounce now in the Premier League, but last weekend's defeat at home to north London rivals Arsenal will have particularly stung. Ange Postecoglou's men have won just one of their four Premier League games this season.
They were almost eliminated in the third round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday, but late goals from Djed Spence and and Brennan Johnson turned the tie with Coventry in their favour.
BRENTFORD PREVIEW: DECENT START
Brentford took an early lead against Man City last weekend but an Erling Haaland brace was enough for the reigning champions to claim the three points. Heading into the weekend, however, Brentford remain in the top half of the Premier League table.
A heavily rotated side then saw off League One outfit Leyton Orient on Tuesday, Fabio Carvalho and Danish duo Mikkel Damsgaard and Christian Noorgard grabbing the goals.
TOTTENHAM TEAM NEWS: BISSOUMA BACK, ODOBERT OUT
Yves Bissouma has trained normally and is in-line to return to Spurs' starting line-up but Wilson Odobert is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury midway through the first half against Coventry.
Richarlison is still out, but the Brazilian shouldn't be too far away from a return.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bissouma, Bentancur; Kulusevski, Maddison, Son; Solanke
UNAVAILABLE: Richarlison (Injured), Lankshear (Injured), Odobert (Injured)

BRENTFORD TEAM NEWS: WISSA BLOW
The Bees lost Yoane Wissa to injury last week with the striker set to be out for a couple of months, so Kevin Schade is poised to fill in alongside Bryan Mbeumo up front. Summer arrival Fabio Carvalho is another option available to Thomas Frank.
Wissa joins six other players in the Brentford treatment room.
PREDICTED XI (3-5-2): Flekken; Van den Berg, Pinnock, Collins; Ajer, Damsgaard, Norgaard, Janelt, Lewis-Potter; Mbeumo, Schade
UNAVAILABLE: Hickey (Injured), Henry (Injured), Jensen (Injured), Dasilva (Injured), Gustavo Nunes (Injured), Igor Thiago (Injured), Wissa (Injured)

TOTTENHAM VS BRENTFORD PREDICTION
The loss of Wissa could be key here as the striker's link-up play with teammate Bryan Mbeumo has caused defences plenty of problems this season. They might not be quite as dangerous in attack as a result, which should aid Spurs as they seek to return to winning ways in the Premier League.
Recent meetings between the two teams have been entertaining affairs featuring plenty of goals though. Three of the last five meetings have ended all square, while both teams have scored in the last four contests. In front of their own fans, Spurs can be tipped here, but it is unlikely to be a shutout at the other end.
