THE LOWDOWN
SOUTHAMPTON
- The only thing missing from Southampton’s 1-0 win over Leeds Utd last weekend was more goals with the Saints having recorded 19 shots on goal against Marcelo Bielsa’s team and a similar performance with more potency going forward will be desired by head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl against Burnley
- James Ward-Prowse continues to serve out his three-match suspension after being sent off against Chelsea, whilst defender Jack Stephens is out injured although striker Che Adams is set to return to the fore.
BURNLEY
- Burnley’s 2-0 loss away at Man City leaves them still without a win in the Premier League this season after eight games, a record that keeps them inside the bottom three.
- Sean Dyche has decisions to make over the involvement of Ben Mee, Charlie Taylor and Matej Vydra with a busy schedule to come, while Dale Stephens is the only definite absentee.

THE PREDICTION
Southampton completed the double over Burnley last season and will be confident of triumphing over Sean Dyche’s side once again if they can replicate their level of performance against Leeds Utd from a fitness perspective, but improve in front of goal. Burnley however, will prove dogged opposition as they look to make this a battle, testing the physicality of the Saints. Ultimately, Southampton with home advantage in their favour should still have enough quality within their side to come out on top, but backing them via the draw no bet is a sensible move, guaranteeing a level of insurance.
Tip: SOUTHAMPTON DRAW NO BET
