THE PREDICTION
An exciting game is on the cards here between two teams full of confidence and recently full of goals. Brentford won’t be overawed at all by the trip to St. Mary’s on the back of their win over Aston Villa and will try and take the fight to Southampton, who having successfully held Tottenham last time out with ten-men through the majority of the game, will be hoping to take advantage of the fact that Brentford are without a clean sheet in their last six Premier League fixtures. However, the last time Southampton shut out their opponents in any competition was all the way back on November 5th 2021 against Aston Villa and with that in mind, both teams to score has to be favoured in this one.
