NOTTINGHAM FOREST PREVIEW: RIDING HIGH

Chris Wood-inspired Nottingham Forest to a second Premier League win in the space of a few days last Friday when his second-half brace helped Nuno Espirito Santo's side overcome the challenge of promoted side Leicester.

The New Zealand international has now scored in his last five games for club and country, while Forest have lost just once in the Premier League this season as they establish themselves in the top half of the table.

WEST HAM PREVIEW: CONTROVERSIAL WIN OVER MAN UTD

West Ham benefited from a contentious penalty decision against Man Utd last weekend when, with the scores tied at one apiece in the final moments, Matthijs de Ligt was adjudged to have fouled Danny Ings. Jared Bowen then stepped up to seal Man Utd's fate, and ultimately Erik ten Hag's tenure in charge of the Red Devils.

That win eased the pressure on Julen Lopetegui's shoulders somewhat, but the Hammers are winless in their last four away games in all competitions, having conceded 11 goals in that stretch.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST TEAM NEWS: WOOD TO BE ASSESSED

There will be late checks on a number of key players with Morgan Gibbs-White, Elliot Anderson and Chris Wood among those who are carrying knocks, while Jota Silva is also doubtful.

James Ward-Prowse cannot face his parent club, while Danilo and Ibrahim Sangare are definitely out.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Moreno; Yates, Domiguez; Elanga, Anderson, Hudson-Odoi; Wood

UNAVAILABLE: Danilo (Injured), Sangare (Injured), Ward-Prowse (Ineligible)

QUESTIONABLE: Gibbs-White (Injured), Anderson (Injured), Jota Silva (Injured), Wood (Injured)

WEST HAM TEAM NEWS: STILL NO FULLKRUG

Lukasz Fabianski started ahead of Alphonse Areola against Man Utd and could retain his place in goal, while Tomas Soucek and Crysencio Summerville will be hoping for starts after coming on at half-time last weekend.

Mohammed Kudus serves the second game of his three-match ban, while summer signing Niclas Fullkrug remains absent with an Achilles injury.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Fabianski; Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Emerson; Alvarez, Rodriguez; Bowen, Soucek, Paqueta; Antonio

UNAVAILABLE: Kudus (Suspended), Fullkrug (Injured)

NOTTINGHAM FOREST VS WEST HAM PREDICTION

Nottingham Forest have enjoyed an excellent start to the season and they now seek a third Premier League victory in a row - a feat they last managed all the way back in 1999.

It's not been quite as plain sailing for West Ham, but the Hammers have won two of their last three games and are starting to look more dangerous in attack. They remain highly vulnerable at the back though, and with Forest striker Chris Wood in the form of his life right now, they are likely to be breached. The visitors may find the net, as they have in ten of their 11 competitive games this season, but a home win is predicted nonetheless.
