THE LOWDOWN

NOTTINGHAM FOREST

  • After the high of their 1-0 win over Liverpool, Forest were sent crashing back down to earth last weekend with a 5-0 defeat at the hands of table-toppers Arsenal, with Steve Cooper’s side second best in all areas of the pitch in that encounter.
  • Defender Giulian Biancone has suffered an ACL injury and will face a lengthy spell on the sidelines, joining four other players currently absent through injury.

BRENTFORD

  • It is now just one win from the last seven Premier League games for Brentford, and Thomas Frank will be keen to see his side turn things around in this trip to the east midlands.
  • They will have to do so without Ivan Toney tough, with their talismanic striker suspended after picking up five yellow cards, so there will need to be a reshuffle in the forward line.

THE TEAM NEWS

BRENTFORD

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Raya; Ajer, Mee, Pinnock, Henry; Rasmussen, Jensen, Janelt, Onyeka; Mbeumo, Wissa, Damsgaard

THE PREDICTION

While Forest were easily swatted aside by Arsenal last weekend, there has been some improvement shown of late and Steve Cooper will certainly be looking at this fixture as one which they should be picking up points from. Given that they are currently bottom of the table, Cooper will have his men fired up for this fixture and they face a Brentford side seemingly on a downward curve. The visitors are also missing key striker Ivan Toney through suspension, so Forest look worth backing in the draw no bet market here.

TIP: NOTTINGHAM FOREST DRAW NO BET
