THE LOWDOWN

MAN UTD

Man Utd looked like they were heading for a draw with great rivals Arsenal in their last Premier League encounter, only to concede twice deep into injury-time at the Emirates.

It was the Red Devils who first went ahead in that match when Marcus Rashford jinxed into the area and unleashed a fine strike in off the post, but Utd's lead lasted just a minute as Martin Odegaard swiflty restored parity. The game then appeared to be petering out into a draw but Declan Rice had other ideas and sent the home crowd into raptures late on. Gabriel Jesus then put the final nail in the coffin with virtually the last kick of the game.

BRIGHTON

After the disappointment of their home defeat to West Ham, Brighton bounced back in fine style against Newcastle last time out - an opponent they will view as a rival for one of the European places this season.

The victory was thanks in large part to young striker Evan Ferguson, who has truly made a name for himself as one of the hottest properties around right now. The Irishman put his side ahead midway through the first half and then added a further two in the second half to complete his first hat-trick at senior level. Callum Wilson pulled one back for Newcastle late on, but the damage had already been done by that point.

THE TEAM NEWS

MAN UTD

Lisandro Martinez is fit and available despite missing both of Argentina's fixtures over the international break, while off-the-field matters keep Jadon Sancho and Antony out of this one. It is unclear, meanwhile, whether loan signing Sofyan Amrabat is available for selection.

The attacking absences could mean a first start for summer recruit Rasmus Hojlund, while Bruno Fernandes may be pushed out wide to fill in one of the spots.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Martinez, Dalot; Casemiro, McTominay; Fernandes, Eriksen, Rashford; Hojlund

UNAVAILABLE: Heaton (Injured), Varane (Injured), Malacia (Injured), Shaw (Injured), Mainoo (Injured), Mount (Injured), Diallo (Injured), Sancho (Disciplinary), Antony (Personal reasons)

QUESTIONABLE: Amrabat (Injured)

BRIGHTON

De Zerbi is sweating on the fitness of Evan Ferguson after the striker missed international duty with a knee injury, but a return to training on Thursday is a positive sign. Danny Welbeck, meanwhile, is likely to be available.

The Seagulls boss has confirmed that Barcelona loanee Ansu Fati will make his debut, but that could well be from the bench.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Verbruggen, Veltman, Van Hecke, Dunk, Estupinan; Gross, Gilmour; March, Joao Pedro, Mitoma; Ferguson

UNAVAILABLE: Moder (Injured), Enciso (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Welbeck (Injured), Ferguson (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

This could be a definite stumbling block for Man Utd, who face a side that pose a danger to any opponent right now. To make matters worse, the hosts have some absences in attack and still do not have Raphael Varane fit to take his place in defence. Brighton look like they mean business again this season, so siding with them in the draw no bet market offers some real value.

TIP: BRIGHTON DRAW NO BET
