THE LOWDOWN
MAN CITY
- A five-star performance from Man City in midweek saw them thrashing Sporting CP 0-5 in Portugal and with one foot now in the Champions League quarter-finals, they now look to try and extend their lead at the top of the Premier League.
- Both Gabriel Jesus and Jack Grealish missed the match in midweek and the latter is definitely out of this one, although Pep Guardiola is hopeful that Jesus will be passed fit.
TOTTENHAM
- Things went from bad to worse for Antonio Conte and Tottenham last weekend as they were beaten 0-2 at home to Wolves, their third straight Premier League defeat which leaves them in eighth-place heading into this weekend’s round of fixtures.
- Conte will be glad to have Eric Dier back available and the England international could go straight back into the starting line-up but Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga will definitely miss out.

THE PREDICTION
Confidence within the Tottenham camp is likely at rock bottom right now with Conte’s men leaking goals consistently, which hardly bodes well for them here at the home of the league leaders and reigning Premier League champions. Ultimately, it’s extremely hard to see Spurs being able to match the quality Man City pose both in midfield and going forward, so the likelihood is that they will be forced to dig in and try to unleash the likes of Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane on the counter attack. Man City though, are simply too good to be denied in front of goal and the expectation is that another successful afternoon is in the offing for them, so back Pep Guardiola’s side to emerge victorious.
