THE LOWDOWN
LEICESTER
- Leicester may be without a significant number of players due to illness, a number of those related to Covid-19, but that didn’t stop them from smashing four goals past Newcastle last Sunday in what was an emphatic victory for the Foxes.
- Defenders Jonny Evans, Wes Fofana and James Justin are the only players unavailable for Leicester due to injury, with as many as seven other players set to be absent through illness.
TOTTENHAM
- The last time Tottenham were in Premier League action was back on December 5th when they beat Norwich 3-0, as an outbreak of COVID-19 forced their match against Brighton this past Sunday to be postponed after their training ground was closed.
- Their trip to Leicester is expected to go ahead, although Spurs could well be without a number of key players such as Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura, although left-wing-back Sergio Reguilon has a chance of featuring following injury.

THE PREDICTION
The plans of both these two sides have been thrown in the air due to the recent Covid-19 outbreaks within each of their camps, which brings an air of unknown to this match due to the large number of Covid-19 related absentees. Whatever team they field against Leicester however, you can expect Tottenham to prove very difficult to break down under Antonio Conte, far more so than Newcastle were this past Sunday. Leicester will also need to prioritise a strong defence and not take too many risks pushing bodies forward with the threat of striker Harry Kane looming large upon them. Therefore, the shrewd move here may be to back under 2.5 goals scored, regardless of who comes out on top.
Tip: UNDER 2.5 GOALS
