THE LOWDOWN

LEEDS UTD

  • A heavily depleted Leeds Utd side fell to a 1-0 defeat away at Southampton last time out, a result that flattered the Whites after being dominated throughout, conceding 19 shots in total.
  • Raphinha is available again which is a huge boost to Bielsa given the injuries in the camp at present, with the likes of Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford deemed not ready for this fixture.

WOLVES

  • Wolves head into this one riding the crest of a wave after their incredible comeback from two goals down away to Aston Villa, ultimately winning 2-3, their third straight league victory.
  • Both Raul Jimenez and Podence were left on the bench against Villa but could return here although Jimenez has been given time off from training this week and remains a doubt.

THE PREDICTION

Leeds should put in a much-improved performance here with home advantage back in their favour compared to last time out against Southampton. However, Wolves are just starting to really hit their stride and were victorious at Elland Road last season. As was the case in Wolves’ most recent game against Aston Villa, an entertaining contest with goals is expected when taking into account that Leeds will look to take the fight to their opponents with home advantage in their favour, not to mention the counter-attacking threat posed by Wolves. With that in mind, both teams to score represents a shrewd play
