THE LOWDOWN
LEEDS UTD
- A late goal from Michael Antonio subjected Leeds Utd to a 1-2 defeat at home to West Ham last weekend, a loss that saw them drop into the bottom three, with no Premier League wins to their name so far this season.
- After scoring against the Hammers before asking to be substituted in the second half, Brazilian Raphinha was an injury concern but he has been passed fit for the visit of Watford, while Patrick Bamford still has plenty of work to do before he is available for selection.
WATFORD
- Watford may be slightly disappointed to have only picked up a point against struggling Newcastle last weekend, although at the same time the Hornets will have taken heart from coming from behind in that one.
- Ben Foster is expected to continue in goal regardless of Austrian stopper Daniel Bachmann's availability whilst Tom Cleverley has been given the go-ahead following concussion.

THE PREDICTION
Leeds Utd know that this match represents arguably their best chance yet of securing a Premier League victory this season against a newly promoted side in Watford, who themselves will fancy their chances of punishing a defensively fragile home side who are yet to keep a clean sheet in the league so far in 2021-22. Winger Ismaila Sarr represents the perfect counter attacking outlet for the visitors and an opponent like Leeds should suit him down to the ground. However, Marcelo Bielsa’s men remain a real force going forward and that isn’t expected to change here, with the hosts expected to find the net at least once against an opponent who are yet to keep a clean sheet this season. Whilst both teams to score looks on the cards, Leeds Utd with home advantage in their favour may just have enough firepower to force victory.
Tip: LEEDS TO WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
